God’s grace in proclaiming His TRUTH IN JESUS, is to be followed by His children disciples proclaiming.  Through His Word, God has raised our hope about eternal life with Him!  What else matters?   Paul says he is God’s slave (bond-servant- doulos).  This word is used of God’s children frequently in the New Testament.   Verse 3 below is powerful.  I like the terminology that God went PUBLIC!  NASB says “manifested”!   Church...  Isn’t it time for us to go public with the Good News of Christ Jesus.  We need to “LET THE LIGHT SHINE” in us!

Titus 1:1-3 Message Bible    I, Paul, am God’s slave and Christ’s agent for promoting the faith among God’s chosen people, getting out the accurate word on God and how to respond rightly to it. 2  My aim is to raise hopes by pointing the way to life without end. This is the life God promised long ago—and he doesn’t break promises! 3  And then when the time was ripe, he went public with his truth. I’ve been entrusted to proclaim this Message by order of our Savior, God himself.

A Prayer:
Father, develop in us the joyful mindset of happy servant-slaves.  May we see the grace in being part of something larger than ourselves.  Teach us of the grace that came through a cross.  Please work a new thing in us, O God.  Help the power of the cross and the resurrection become the power in us to awaken ourselves and the world You’ve given us.  In the name of Jesus,   Amen!
